Shuck Memorial Baptist Church
Shuck Memorial Baptist Church
Lewisburg, West Virginia
Organized 1927
Pastor - Ronald F. (Ron) Miller
Shuck Memorial was founded in 1927 in the Lewisburg community. The church was named in honor of Jehu Lewis Shuck, a Lewisburg native who became an early Baptist missionary to China. The church continues to have a very proud and strong support of mission activity. Shuck is an active member of the Greenbrier Baptist Association (the oldest Baptist Association in WV), the West Virginia Baptist Convention, and the American Baptist Churches, USA.

Shuck Memorial Baptist Church is a progressive, caring church in the American Baptist tradition. The church is an inclusive church believing that God has called the church to be open and ready to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with any who may need the peace and joy of Christ in their life. While as a church we hold very dear certain Baptist traditions and practices, we are open to all who wish to come and worship. Our worship services are traditional with a strong emphasis upon the word worship.
