The West Point Baptist Church is an American Baptist Church located in Asbury West Virginia. The church was founded in Asbury in 1859 on the West Point of a ridge. It was later moved to its present location, but it continued to keep the name of West Point.

All are welcome to come and worship with us at the West Point Church. The worship style is informal with an emphasis upon the preached word. The church membership is small, but the spirit of serving the Lord is very large.
 

The Church Sunday School Picnic is held every year on the last Sunday in June.  Various Gospel Sings and Fellowship Opportunities are held throughout the year.  Every Fall the church holds an Annual Fall Revival

West Point Baptist is located on Route 12 in Asbury. It is located on the right coming south from I-64 and on the left coming north from Alderson, WV directly across from the road that turns to the small community of Asbury. The church is a small white structure with a parking lot in front. Look for the brick signs on Route 12 that stand in front of the parking lot and the front of the church.
